The weather is becoming better, the days longer, and i got more opportunitys for shooting some pics. I am a little excited about that since i have my camera for only some months now.

Large Aperture is tempting

Its now a week since i bought my 35mm f 1/1.8 lense for my nikon and i was stunned about the images i took. It really is tempting to always shoot with that large aperture, especially when you want to take pictures in low light situations. The difference to the 18-55mm Kit-lense is amazing... i mean with the same focal length, ISO and largest aperture(1.8 with the new and about 3.5 with the kit-lense) i only need one sixth of exposure time - one sixth is pretty much if you ask me.
What i have to learn yet is to use greater aperture values when shooting in daylight to get sharper images (for example F 8). From what i have read, prime lense mak
